Mark Pelletier

Group Head

Mark is Group Head, Portfolio Manager, and a founding member of Katayma Credit Management. He has over 30 years of leveraged finance and structured products expertise. Most recently, Mark led SLC Managements Leveraged Finance Group. Prior to SLC, Mark founded the Leveraged Finance Asset Management business at American Capital (ACLFM). He grew the ACLFM business from a start-up phase to over $7.3B in AUM across nine actively managed CLO funds, a third-party managed CLO equity investment effort, a corporate account loan mandate and a publicly traded closed-end business development company. Before founding ACLFM, Mark was a senior portfolio manager for Flagship Capital Management (a BoA company). Mark holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Northeastern University, an M.B.A. from Northeastern University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Juan Miguel Estela

Senior Analyst

Juan Miguel is a senior credit analyst and founding member of Katayma Credit Management. He has over 18 years of leveraged finance and structured products expertise. Most recently, Juan Miguel served as Managing Director, portfolio manager, and credit analyst at SLC Managements Leveraged Finance Group. Prior to SLC, Juan Miguel was lead portfolio manager for three CLOs and a publicly traded business development company, and he jointly managed a corporate loan investment mandate at American Capital. Prior to joining American Capital, Juan Miguel was a credit analyst for Citibank Colombia, where his responsibilities included underwriting and monitoring corporate credits across the Food, Beverage and Retail industries. Juan Miguel holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and an M.B.A. from George Washington University.

Christian Toro

Senior Analyst

Christian is a senior credit analyst and founding member of Katayma Credit Management. He has over 20 years of leveraged finance and structured products expertise. Most recently, Christian served as Managing Director, portfolio manager, and credit analyst at SLC Managements Leveraged Finance Group. Prior to SLC, Christian oversaw American Capital's CLO tranche investment effort and fund structuring and was lead CLO portfolio manager for two publicly listed business development companies and a private CLO equity fund. Before joining American Capital, Christian was a member of the securitization practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP and PwC LLP. Christian holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from New York University, magna cum laude. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Tad Kesy

Senior Analyst

Tad is a senior credit analyst at Katayma Credit Management. He has over 20 years of leverage finance experience. Most recently, Tad was a credit analyst at DWS covering credits in the Media, Retail, and Consumer sectors. Prior to DWS, Tad was a credit analyst at Allianz covering credits in the Industrial, Building Materials, Homebuilding, and Paper / Packaging sectors. Tad holds a B.B.A. degree from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, as well as M.B.A and M.S. degrees from Marquette University.

Hilary Langworthy

Senior Analyst

Hilary is a senior credit analyst with over 15 years of experience. Prior to joining Katayma Credit Management, Hilary was a credit analyst at Ellington Management Group focused on the enhanced CLO strategy.  Prior to Ellington, she was a credit analyst at Black Diamond Capital covering the Retail, Restaurant, and Leisure sectors.  Hilary began her career in leveraged finance as a desk analyst at Credit Suisse.  She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Stephen Sylvester

Senior Analyst

Stephen Sylvester is a senior credit analyst with over 25 years of leveraged finance expertise. Prior to joining Katayma, he was a Senior Vice President, credit analyst, at Alcentra - a global asset manager focused on high yield and leveraged loan total return and CLO funds.  Prior to Alcentra, Stephen was a senior credit analyst at Standish Mellon, Director at Deutsche Asset Management, and high yield analyst at Delaware Investments.  He has covered a variety of sectors in his career including telecom, media, gaming, technology, and business services. Stephen holds a B.A. in Government from Hamilton College and a MSc in Economics from London School of Economics. 

Musa Hoxha

Director of Operations

Musa Hoxha is the Director of Operations at Katayma Credit Management. He has over 15 years of reporting and operations experience covering credit funds, structured products, and trading. Prior to joining Katayma, he was part of the Product Control team at BMO Capital Markets, managing reporting of the fixed income trading and structured origination groups. Prior to BMO Capital Markets, Musa was at Apollo Management responsible for reporting and performance analytics of various credit funds, CLOs, and SMAs. Before joining Stone Tower Capital (acquired by Apollo Management), he was with Bank of America and Prudential Investment Management as a member of Operations and Investment Reporting groups. Musa holds a B.B.A. degree in Finance and Investments from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
